Do we accept insurance?

Our child and adolescent therapist Jessica Okugic, LPC, NCC is currently in-network with Aetna and United. Erica and Jacob are currently out-of-network with insurance companies. Upon request, we provide a Superbill (invoice for insurance) so that you can get reimbursed via your out-of-network benefits, if applicable. Individuals can get reimbursed up to 80% depending on their plan.

Check your benefits below!

As an out-of-network provider, we have partnered with Mentaya to help my clients save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services. Our practice is currently out-of-network with insurance companies.

** Please select Erica even if you plan to see Jacob as your therapist.

Will it be worth the investment?

YOU are worth the investment, but you need to believe it.

Think about all the ways you may nurture your physical well-being...

Examples:

  • haircuts/salon treatments

  • body massages

  • routine dental cleanings

  • gym memberships

  • consuming organic produce

Now, think about your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Don't you owe it to yourself to care for your head, heart, and soul just as much?

You deserve all the healing and restoration that comes with self-care. You have always been MORE than worth it. Take the first step towards your well-being and seek help today!

How can I afford services without insurance?

  • Using your Employee Assistance Program (EAP): If you or your spouse's employer offers this, it might cover the cost of several therapy sessions, which is a fantastic perk!

  • Using your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA): These pre-tax accounts can be used to pay for various healthcare expenses, including therapy sessions.

  • Less Frequent Sessions: If committing to weekly sessions is financially challenging, you can opt for scheduling sessions every other week, mini sessions, and eventually monthly sessions to make it more manageable.

  • Submitting Superbills: Request and submit monthly Superbills to your insurance provider for reimbursement of out-of-network therapy benefits.

You won't need us forever!

We believe that doing our best work means helping you reach a point where you won't need our assistance anymore, and that's a good thing!

In therapy, our goal is to empower you to heal and make progress on your own.

To fully invest in your well-being, we choose to operate without the constraints of medical billing codes, insurance credentials, and excessive paperwork.

Without insurance companies dictating the terms of our sessions, we have the freedom and flexibility to meet you exactly where you are and provide the support you need to achieve your goals.

By limiting our involvement with insurance companies, we can be in sync with you and work together in a way that suits your needs, no matter where, when, or for how long you require our assistance.

Remember, our ultimate aim is to help you thrive independently. You won't need us forever, and that's something we celebrate!

No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
